Silikal-MMA- and EP-reactive resin systems fulfil the criteria of the AgBB

Silikal-MMA- and EP-reactive resin systems fulfil the criteria of the AgBB (Committee for Health related Evaluation of Building Products) for the protection of human health in public places!

Tough nut from the legislators – successfully cracked! This is, as anticipated, the excellent achievement of Silikal with its new MMA- and EP-flooring systems in regards to the current demands of the AgBB, the Committee for Health-related Evaluation of Building Products, for emissions from building products used for application indoors.

For the protection of human health the AgBB has developed new rules, test criteria, and quality standards and compiled an evaluation scheme for emissions for construction products relevant to the interior. “Indoors” means much more than just private living areas, this includes above all schools, kindergartens, clinics, club houses, public buildings, municipal halls, libraries, etc.

All building products used in these areas, including synthetic resins for floors, must be successfully tested according to the AgBB-scheme. For this purpose Silikal has developed two new systems that have already been successfully tested according to the AgBB-scheme.

We look forward to giving you more information! About our new AgBB-tested and approved MMA- and EP-resins, about the AgBB and legal hurdles and regulations, and of course about anything else you would like to or should have information about.
